About the event
As caregivers, we find meaning and value in caring for others. But how do we do care for others AND take care of ourselves? When we start making decisions about where to put our energy -- who receives it, who doesn't--we're making choices about boundaries. This can bring up guilt and anxiety, and it can create conflict in our communities. Reserve this weekend for yourself to get clear on where and how you want to focus your most precious resource--your energy, and receive support in managing the natural feelings of doubt that arise when you align with yourself.
In the cozy setting of a living room, we will be utilizing conversation, reflective exercises, art and journaling as a means to learn and play.Â
Friday, 11/8 - 7pm Optional wine hour (included) - location TBD
Saturday, 11/9 - 8:30am breakfast (included) + registration check-in; 9a-4p program with lunch included.
Sunday, 11/10 - 9:00-11am breakfast (included) + programÂ
This event is approved for 7.5 CEs by the California Board of Nursing; approval pending by the National Association of Social Workers.
